Research paper topic.

Late last Saturday night, while watching a movie and relaxing, I was suddenly distracted by a loud noise which sounded like a extremely loud microwave. Curious I ran to the window to see what was making the commotion. Upon looking out the window I was blinded by bright blue and green lights. As my eyes adjusted my mind could not comprehend what they were witnessing: a large circular  object so big it seemed to cover the whole sky, and seconds later it was gone disappearing in the blink of a eye. After crawling back in to bed I knew what I had  experienced was not from this planet. Lying there in my bed I knew I could never explain my encounter to anyone because no one would ever believe me.
I believe that aliens do exist even though to my knowledge there is no concrete evidence to support the idea of extraterrestrials. The universe is massive; so big that no person can fully understand its scale. By looking into the night sky you can see hundreds of stars witch are other universes, leading me to  believe that there has to be a planet at a reasonable distance from a sun to support life. Although there is no physical evidence of aliens, there are many eye witness accounts describing sightings of unexplainable lights and objects in the sky. The United States of America has a secret base in the desert which is believed to house evidence of beings from out of this world known as Area 51. Nasa's Voyager probe will be the first man-made object ever to leave our solar system. The probe may be able to tell us the truth about life outside our planet. The knowledge of extraterrestrials is very important to our planet as they could be a threat  or benefit to the Human race.

  1. Your research essay must be persuasive and supported by evidence. You've noted that there is no evidence to support your claim. I'm not sure how you hope to construct a convincing argument using this topic.
And when we look at the stars in the night sky, we don't see "other universes." We see other solar systems, but I understand your point.
